POMegranate and Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pomegranate Juice (I use the Pom Wonderful Brand)
  • 1/2 cup fresh frozen organic blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh pineapples chunks
  • 1/2 of a small haas avocado (1/4 of a larger one)
  • 1 small thin slice of fresh ginger peeled and chopped
  • 4 small fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 of a lime juiced
  • 1 cup crushed ice

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender.  Blend until desired smoothie texture.
    Pour in your favorite glass, sip and enjoy.

Notes

For this recipe you can substitute, almond butter or use some fresh walnuts.  I love to use peanuts - it's great for my skin.  You can also use a cup of the blueberries and 1/2 cup pineapple - depending on which taste you like better.  Either way it is great.
