Spinach | How to Grill Spinach

Grilling is one of the most delicious and easy ways to make spinach. And its loaded with nutrients and serves as an excellent side dish.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces spinach organic baby spinach
  • 1/2 medium onion white or yellow, diced
  • 1 clove fresh garlic pressed in a garlic press or finely minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt or kosher (adjust for your diet)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

PREHEAT GRILL 450F TO 500F DEGREES:

  • Add the spinach to a large mixing bowl or aluminum foil tin.
  • Add in the onions, garlic, salt, pepper and drizzle in the olive oil.
  • Mix thoroughly. Transfer to a grilling basket.
  • Grill for 12 to 15 minutes, mixing two to three times. Keep the grill covered as much as possible. Cook until the spinach is wilted and bright green.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve with your favorite entree. Enjoy.
