Berry Persimmom Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 ripe persimmon peeled and quartered
  • 1/2 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 medium organic pear core removed
  • 1 cup frozen organic frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 lime juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for up to one minute until you achieve smoothie texture - up to one minute

    Pour in your favorite glass and serve.

Recipe Notes

I used Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract. It makes for an exciting flavor. You can substitute almond butter or your choice of protein instead of peanut butter. 

The frozen blueberries keeps it cold. Optional to add a few ice cubes - but not necessary.
