  • 3/4 inch piece fresh ginger peeled
  • 1 sprig fresh thyme leaves only
  • 1/3 - 1/2 fresh cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon grape seed oil
  • 1 pinch kosher salt

Instructions

  • Dump all ingredients, tomatoes, cayenne pepper, thyme leaves, ginger, apple cider vinegar, grapeseed oil and salt, into a blender. Blend 5 to 10 seconds to combine the ingredients.
1 1/2 pints tomatoes, 1/3 - 1/2 fresh cayenne pepper, 1 sprig fresh thyme, 3/4 inch piece fresh ginger, 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon grape seed oil, 1 pinch kosher salt
  • Stain the mixture over a large jug equipped with a fine mesh strainer. Let the juices drain at it's own pace (this will take a while) or use a spoon to gently push the juices through the fine mesh.
Tip 1: : If letting the juice drain naturally, can place it in the refrigerator overnight.
Tip 2: Alternatively, use a cheese cloth draped over the strainer. Then lift it up and gently squeeze out the juices into the jug.
  • Pour the juice into a soup bowl and use a spoon to drink. This soup can be enjoyed at room temperature or refrigerate and use it cold. Enjoy.
