Ingredients

  • 44 ounces water
  • 2 cups fresh basil I used sweet basil - rip with hands
  • 2 large broad leaf thyme rip with hands. Can substitute 1 tablespoon of your favorite fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon honey I used Manuka honey
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Bring the water to a boil
    44 ounces water
  • Add the ripped basil and thyme into a large heat proof jug. Pour the boiling water over the herbs. Allow to steep for 25 to 30 minutes.
    2 cups fresh basil, 2 large broad leaf thyme
  • Strain and sweeten with the honey or your preferred sweetener. The tea can be sipped warm or enjoyed cold on ice.
