  • 12 ounces brussel sprouts trimmed and cut large ones in halves
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/3 cup water

Steam the Brussels Sprouts:

  • Add the Brussels sprouts to a deep sauté pan, Season with salt and pour in the water. Cover the pan with a tight lid. Use medium heat to steam the Brussel sprouts for 5 minutes, until it's bright green and starts to become al dente.
    12 ounces brussel sprouts, 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/3 cup water

Cook the Pre-cooked Brussels sprouts in the aromatics spice sauce:

  • In a small prep bowl, combine the garlic, ginger, hot peppers, soy sauce, Chinese white wine, extra virgin olive oil, sesame oil, fresh ground black pepper and honey. Mix until fully incorporated.
    4 cloves fresh garlic, 1 – 2 inches piece ginger, 1 -2 fresh cayenne peppers, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon Chinese white wine , 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, 2 teaspoons sesame oil, 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, 2 teaspoons honey
  • Pour the aromatics mixture over the Brussel sprouts. Mix. Cover and cook 3 – 5 minutes until fragrant and the Brussels sprouts are cooked to your desired texture. Turn off the flame. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve with your favorite entree.
