Berry Cherry Smoothie

This smoothie is rich in vitamin C and is sweet with a bit of tartness with no added sugar.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup cherry juice
  • 6 medium strawberries frozen and organic
  • 6 -7 pineapple chunks frozen
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (can substitute almond butter)
  • smoothie spice mix (see notes for recipe)
  • 7 -8 small fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  • Dump all ingredients into a blender. Blend/Puree until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into your favorite glass. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

Smoothie Spice Mix Recipe:
1/8 teaspoon each: ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, turmeric powder, ground cardamom and ground ginger.
You can use a small piece of fresh ginger as a substitution for the ground ginger.
I used Vietnamese cinnamon
The serving size is approximately 16 ounces.
