Smoothies are a great way for me to get my daily doses of fruits (or fruits and vegetables). They are always easy to pull together and they are especially loaded with nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants. This Cherry Berry Smoothie is one of my favorites because it has a lot of vitamin C and the flavor profile is sweet and tart. I like the taste of peanut butter and I use it for the protein power as well. You can always substitute with almond butter, if that is your thing.
I drink a large glass of nutrient dense smoothie daily and often times I add leafy spinach or kale. This Cherry Berry Smoothie will go well with either, if you want to add in the veggies for extra nutrition. I’ve made this smoothie in the past with spinach and it was just as sweet and tarty tasting.
I hope you will make this high Vitamin C, nutrients rich smoothie and enjoy it as much as we do. Happy Cooking!
