Frozen Guava Mock-Margarita (Alcohol Free)

This guava mock - margarita is a show stopper. While this recipe is alcohol free, don't be shy, because it is alcohol friendly. Just add a shot or two of your favorite tequila (Patron is perfect).

Equipment

  • 1 vitamix or blender of choice

Ingredients

  • 1 large guava ripened and chopped (May use guava puree)
  • 1 blood orange or cara cara orange. (Supreme - ie., peeled and segmented)
  • 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 4 ounces water
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • pinch of sea salt
  • optional: sweetener of choice I like to add 2 teaspoons raw honey

Instructions

  • Dump all ingredients into a blender and puree until thick and icy looking.
  • Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
    PS: Feel free to salt your glass rim. I sometimes add a chili salted rim.
