In a non stick frying pan, heat 2 teaspoons olive oil. Cook the turkey burgers in batches for 10 to 12 minutes (5 to 6 minutes per side). During the final 2 minutes cook time, add 1 slice of cheese per pattie - cook till melted. add olive oil as needed for each batch Notes: Depending on the size of the frying pan, cook 2 to 3 burgers per batch - do not over crowd the pan as it will prevent the burger patties from forming a nice crust.Use room temperature cheese - it melts quicker.
Serve the pattie on a toasted hamburger bun and top with avocado slices as desired. Add your favorite condiment if desired. Enjoy.
