For the Elderberry Tea
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon dried elderberries organic
For the Fruits
- 6 ounces fresh blackberries organic
- 15 fresh bing cherries pitted
- 1 large blood orange juiced
- 1 tablespoon Manuka honey
Instructions
Make the elderberry tea
- Add 4 cups water to a tea kettle and bring just t0 a boil. Use medium heat.4 cups water
- Turn off the stove. Add in the elderberries. Let it steep for 10 minutes.1 tablespoon dried elderberries
Make the fruits and tea blend
- Stain the elderberries tea into a blender. Add in the honey.1 tablespoon Manuka honey
- Add the blackberries, cherries and orange juice. Blend until smooth.6 ounces fresh blackberries, 15 fresh bing cherries, 1 large blood orange
- Strain the elderberries fruits tea into a jug.Note: may discrgard straining if you don't mind the fiber- rich bits.
- To serve, pour into tea cups and sip warm.. Or serve on ice for a refreshing drink. Enjoy!
