Why is this a smoothie you should try? It packs a wealth of healthy antioxidants and nutrients with incredibe deliciousness. Drinking fruit smoothies as a post-workout breakfast is what I look forward to during the week – it’s my guilty pleasure. This POMegranate smoothie is like drinking a glass of red wine and a portion of your favorite dessert all wrapped up in one – but these are the calories you want. This drink warms my heart and it makes my soul smile – that’s Heavenly!
For this smoothie, I wanted to incorporate pomegranate juice which contains higher levels of antioxidants than most other fruit juices. [I love to use the juice from fresh pomegranates during the September to February months when they are in season.] For all of my followers who cannot use dairy products in smoothies, this is a great recipe that may work for you – the pomegranate juice coupled with the creamy texture of avocado gives it the thickness a quality smoothie demands. To bring this powerful drink to life, I added fresh frozen organic blueberries, fresh pineapple chunks, fresh mint, fresh ginger, fresh lime juice, cardamom and peanut butter for protein.
I hope you enjoy sipping on this delicious and healthy smoothie as much as I do. I welcome your feedback, comment or question. Use the reply feature at the bottom of the recipe or use the contact page. Thanks for stopping by.

Recipe Notes
For this recipe you can substitute, almond butter or use some fresh walnuts. I love to use peanuts - it's great for my skin. You can also use a cup of the blueberries and 1/2 cup pineapple - depending on which taste you like better. Either way it is great.
Blending the pomegranate with the fruits in your recipe, at 1st gives visual anticipation of special taste to come & no disappointment. A delicious smoothie with a refreshing mint flavor, full of vitamins, probiotics & more. Will make this recipe often,
