Smoothies are an essential part of my day. It’s a great way to get my daily dose of fruits and most often a serving (or two) of green leafy veggies. This particular smoothie is a sweet indulgence that is packed with loads of vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants.
It’s only a few months per year when cherries are in season so I take advantage to not only snack on them but incorporating this fiber, vitamin C and potassium rich fruit in my breakfast routine makes for a special treat. This fruit collaborates superbly with the antioxidant rich blueberries, and blackberries which is loaded with vitamin C and fiber. I love to eat raw kiwi and adding this brownish (or golden) fuzzy looking under rated fruit gives a healthy sweet tart kick to any smoothie. Kiwi is a very densely nutritious fruit. The delicacy of this meal in a cup is topped off with the omega-3 rich walnuts and the nutrient rich leafy spinach.
This fruit and spinach smoothie combination is sweet with a slight tart but it taste smooth and delicious. I hope you will try this smoothie for snack or breakfast and enjoy it as much as I do. Happy Cooking.
