The name Berry Nutritiously Dense Smoothie says a lot about this healthy, satiating drink. Loaded with vitamins and antioxidants it’s perfect for an after workout breakfast. Berries are amongst some of the healthiest fruits. No wonder they are usually a top choice for blending into delicious smoothies. Moreover, smoothies offer an easy way to get the daily dose of fruits.

While the variations of fruits and vegetables for smoothies are endless, this Berry Nutritiously Dense Smoothie combination is amazingly rich in vitamins and antioxidants.

Further, let’s talk about why this vitamin and antioxidants Berry Nutritiously Dense smoothie makes a healthy choice. First, that beautiful purple pigmented blackberry are low calories, rich in vitamin C, K, Potassium and Magnesium. Because they can be found easily in the grocery store’s frozen section they make an easy and healthy choice. Hence, they tend to end up in so many smoothies, like this Berry Cherry Smoothie..

Second, when blackberries and blueberries are coupled together the nutritional content is amazing. While the blackberries are rich in vitamin C and Potassium, the blueberries are rich in Vitamins B1, B2 and B6. Both of these fruits are rich in antioxidants like flavonoids amongst a host of other antioxidants properties.

Additionally, let’s not forget about pairing the small but mighty Kiwi fruit with the super powerhouse black and blue berries. They are one of the most nutritiously dense fruit. Not only are kiwis rich in Vitamin C but they have a host of antioxidants like “choline, lutein, and zeaxanthin — help remove free radicals from the body.” (MedicalNewsToday).

Furthermore, the blackberries, blueberries and kiwis adds fiber to the diet. Therefore, it makes sense to pair them with a high fiber vegetable such as the glamorously green leafy kale. Almost all of the smoothes on my menu contains a rich leafy green. Usually kale, like in this Citrusy Kale Smoothie, or Spinach, like in this Red Devil Smoothie.

Together, the combination of these fruits and vegetables, makes this Berry Nutritiously Dense Smoothie a super healthy choice. It is low calorie and vitamin antioxidants rich. One serving contains approximately 10 grams of fiber, 6 grams of protein and more. It is a must try. Happy Cooking!
