Equipment

- 1 pound haricot verts French stye string beans. rinsed and trimmed if needed
- 1 1/2 pounds ground turkey white or dark meat
- 1 medium onion peeled and sliced
- 2-4 serrano peppers Chopped 2 peppers
- 1 tablespoon finely minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon finely minced ginger
- 3 scallions chopped
- 1/3 cup fresh cuban oregano finely chopped (Broad Lead Thyme) or substitute 2 tablespoons regular thyme leaves
- 2 tablespoons fresh married man pork (basil) or use Thai basil
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon Chinese rice wine
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Heat a large sauté pan using medium high heat. Add the olive oil1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Add the string beans and sauté 3to 5 minutes. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Remove the beans and set aside.1 pound haricot verts

- Add back the charred string beans, scallions, sesame oil, rice wine and soy sauce. Mix to combine all the ingredients. Turn off the stove.
