Equipment

Ingredients

  • 12 – 15 cherries remove stems and pits
  • 1 small red beets peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries organic
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • Smoothie spice blend (see notes)
  • 1/4 haas avocado
  • 6 – 8 fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 2 cups baby spinach organic
  • 1 1/2 cups ice cubes

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a blender.
  • Blend/puree until smooth and creamy. Up to 2 minutes, depending on the quality of your blender.
    Note: I use both the smoothie and puree feature on my blender.
  • Pour into your favorite glass. Garnish with basil if desired.
  • Serve. Drink and Enjoy!

Notes

Smoothie Spice Blend Mix:
1/8 teaspoon each:
ground ginger
ground turmeric 
ground nutmeg
ground cinnamon (I use Vietnamese cinnamon)
ground cardamom
