Not to mention, it is packed with nutrition, light and low calorie. Each serving contains 6 grams fiber, 3 grams protein and a good amount of vitamin C. What flavors pairs with peaches and are they healthy?
Notably, this Peachy Black Tea Refresher made with Earl Grey black tea leaves and fresh peaches worked well together. The combination of fresh ginger with the selection of spices added another level of delicious flavor. Additionally, peaches are high in fiber and low calorie. A note, however, about raw verses cooked peaches, they are more nutritious eaten raw. However because they tend to go bad quickly, cooking them is a good alternative.
Furthermore, peaches marry perfectly with spices like cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and nutmeg. While freshly grated nutmeg works with the peaches, it doesn’t match as well with the black tea. An alternative method for making this Peachy Black Tea Refresher drink involves steeping it in slightly warm water, not boiled water. This requires both time and extra ripened peaches. The peaches can be mushed up using a muddle or the back of a fork or spoon. Let the peaches soak in the liquid for at least four hours and use ground spices instead of whole. Either way this refresher drink taste amazing. Happy Cooking!
