Hence, this unique mix brings an explosion of flavors to your favorite meals, whether it’s chicken, steaks, fish, veggies, or even vinaigrette.

How to Use:
To make the perfect blend of the Umami Spice Rub, grind 5 small or 3 larger dried porcini mushrooms, 1 tsp juniper berries, 1 tsp cumin seeds, and 1 tsp red pepper flakes into a powder. Mix in 3/4 tsp smoked paprika. Don’t like smoked paprika, substitute sweet paprika if desired. Now, generously season your chosen ingredients before cooking. For meats, let the rub sit for at least fifteen to thirty minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate. Furthermore for veggies, sprinkle the rub before roasting or grilling. Additionally, this seasoning enhance vinaigrettes by incorporating a pinch of this blend for a unique and savory twist.

Importantly, store the Homemade Umami Spice Mix in an airtight container in a cool, dark place to preserve its potency. The shelf life is approximately 2-3 months, ensuring you have this flavor enhancer ready whenever you need it.
